James Collins has been tremendous this season, and it's well worth taking the gamble on age not catching up with him next.

I just can't understand people who pay more attention to a number on a birth certificate than to performance.

Works both ways - if you're good enough, you're young/old enough

James Collins has played over 50% more games than Fonte since Fonte moved to West Ham, receives less than half in wages and yet they are messing him around on a new contract.

Have always said that as Carroll plays about a third of our games at best we effectively pay him £270,000 a week.
Has to be gone in the summer one way or another

We've had more than enough experience previously, and currently, of throwing money at injury prone players, I'm at a complete loss as to why some are up in arms that we didn't do it with that idiot.

Rice is on the right money. If he proves himself, he will be out on more for longer. He’s proved himself, so that is what will happen. We’ve got loads of pros at his age so paying them more is not sensible as most (nearly all) won’t make it.

There’s plenty of examples of how poor we are run in that list without making an issue out of Rice.

The main one for me is signing Hart but there are plenty more.
